ICE-TEK
Sustainable canteens for the environmentally conscious
Role: Web/UI Design, Branding, Prototyping
Jul. 2024
ICE-TEK is a fictional brand of sustainable canteens with an intrinsic connection to nature. Their patented dual-insulated sidewalls provide for the longest ice retention on the market, while their natural cedar caps offer a durable and eco-friendly solution to standard caps.
I wanted the online presence to reflect the sustainable nature of the canteens. This was achieved by leaning into soft, organic interactions and earthy color tones that convey a sense of the outdoors.
Rather than creating an abundance of complex systems, I took this opportunity to experiment in designing reusable components so that new pages can be crafted and launched with minimal setbacks.
I was highly interested in the design of the checkout flow as it's one of the final touch points during the standard customer experience and can often make or break the final impressions a consumer walks away with.
I kept the process as simple as possible with a single page between cart and purchase finalization in an attempt to minimize cart abandonment.
